Remote Parking means that parking in and exiting from parking spaces and garages is initiated from outside the vehicle. This allows the driver to get out of the vehicle without any hassle before parking it in narrow parking spaces or garages. This can be particularly helpful for people with reduced mobility or parents with children when getting into or out of the vehicle. In order to use Remote Parking Assist, additional equipment and a suitable smartphone with the Remote Parking Assist App are required. The App (Android, iOS) is available to customers free of charge in the App Store. To activate Remote Parking Assist in the vehicle, the function must be subscribed to on the Mercedes me portal.
